HPSEPO held their Lecture Orientation
for SHS students at Cielito Zamora Senior High School,
11th day of July, 2017.
MMDA’s vision is to maintain the cleanliness, health condition and orderliness of Metro Manila. They have provided a Development Plan regarding to its status.
Acosta, Hernielyn A., Special Operation Officer I, started the lecture by defining the power and functions of MMDA together with the Public Safety Instruction, Transport and Traffic Management.
“Disiplina ang ating pairalin kung ayaw mong kapahamakan ang iyong tahakin,” Acosta said.
She also discussed the Speed Operations and asked questions to the students consecutively.
Together with Acosta, an Environmentalist Management Specialist Joyce Flores talked about some issues regarding smoking, solid waste, disposal management, urban renewal zoning and usage of shelter services.
LTFRB Memorandum Circular No. 036 series of 2009 stated that smoking is prohibited in public vehicles, terminals or parking. Also, some regulations and precautions are included.
Those who will violate the memorandum will pay from 200 Php up to 5000 Php and there will be suspension, confiscation, and cancellation of license will be implemented.
Flores also said that Lecture Orientation is included in their action plan to spread information and to remind the citizens to take action to make Metro Manila a better place for everyone.
