Despite the heavy rains, Cielito Zamora Senior High School’s new building inauguration succeeded on August 13.
Caloocan First District Congressman Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, Barangay 177 Chairperson Dolores “Nora” Asistio, Brgy. Kagawad Loreto “Ato” Derrada, Sanguniang Kabataan Chairperson Eloisa Marie “Sweet” Encarnacion, a public schools division supervisor, Mrs. Marites Angus, the school principal, Dr. Wilhelmina D. Tarnate, teachers, parents, and the students have witnessed program.
The program was formally opened through a thanksgiving mass officiated by Reverend Father Leo Laguilles of Mary Mother of the Church Parish and was followed by the induction ceremony of the elected school officials.
Cong. Malapitan in his message, highlighted the importance of Parents and Teachers Association as an independent body. Also, he explained the city government’s guidelines in suspending classes.
“Pag ako naging mayor, ambon pa lang, suspended na,” Cong. Malapitan added as he joked to the students.
The program ended through the ribbon cutting led by Cong. Malapitan, Brgy. Chair. Asistio, SK Chair. Encarnacion and Dr. Tarnate.
